Don't touch my truck!

Is this day over yet? Can I just crawl back into bed?

Not literally, but honestly, can it just end already?

It all started with waking up to a sick baby—that alone was enough to send my stress levels skyrocketing. Then, I had to pick up the truck. Two grand later, it was supposedly "good as new." Or so I thought.

At least I made it to the doctor without any issues. Chest X-rays were ordered, and the doctor seemed concerned, trying to rule out RSV. Oddly enough, we were hoping for pneumonia instead. Strange thing to hope for, but off we went—my poor baby strapped into a plastic tube for the X-ray. I was already on edge, holding back tears, when the dashboard of my truck suddenly went blank.

It flickered back on, only to light up like a Christmas tree—every warning light imaginable going off one by one. First, 4x4 failure. Then brakes. Tire pressure. Oh, and now I need an oil change? Finally, everything went blank again.

The upside? The truck was still driving smoothly, somehow.

I managed to pull into the X-ray facility's busy parking lot, park, and head inside. But when I came back out, the truck wouldn't start. The alarm started blaring for no apparent reason. I had to pop the battery and wait. Of course, the tow truck added insult to injury, charging me $200 just to move my truck a few blocks because it required a flatbed.

It’s only lunchtime, and I’ve already maxed out my chaos quota. I might need some stronger weed to get through today without loosing my mind.
