Better Late than Never

I honestly started to think she might never make it to school. Sure, I could have sent her earlier, but I didn’t want her to be *that* kid—the one who has an accident during class. Nor did I want to be the parent everyone silently judges for sending their child to school unprepared, forcing the teachers or other kids to deal with it.

So I waited. And waited. And waited some more.

September passed. Then October.

And then, finally—it happened. After years of navigating complex health challenges that left doctors scratching their heads...

Hospital visits, countless nights spent in sterile rooms. Blood transfusions, iron infusions. Test after test: MRIs, bone marrow procedures, endless rounds of bloodwork.

Finally, everything changed. She was healthy. She was thriving. And she was ready.

I can’t begin to describe how excited I am to see her start this new chapter, and I’m beyond grateful to share this journey with her!
