The Impossible Space

It’s been 16 days—16 days since my world was turned upside down.

Most days, I’m just trying to get by, struggling to understand how this man could choose to end "us" rather than take responsibility. How he could choose to play the victim instead of being truthful.

Does he really believe he can rewrite the story to fit his narrative? Does he truly think that a lie isn’t a lie simply because it makes me upset?

All I’ve ever wanted is respect. For years, I’ve shown up, stepped up, and loved with everything I had.

I’ve given endlessly, sacrificed deeply, cared fully, and taken on more than my share.

And yet, he failed—failed to show up, to be present, to take care of what mattered, and to step up when it counted.

It’s been years—years of broken promises, excuses, and feeling drained. Years of being taken for granted.

I begged for help, only to watch him continue to take more.

Now, I’m asking for space—just space—and even that is denied. He keeps invading my boundaries, my privacy, and my peace of mind.
